Mixed-Media Miniature Sculptures

Join us for a free afternoon of art making
as we explore texture, pattern, shape, and design. Inspired by the two- and three- dimensional artworks in the C.O.L.A. 2013 exhibition, families will create miniature mixed-media abstract sculptures using yarn, wire, wood, and other exciting materials. No reservations required. All ages are welcome!

Jurors: Carol S. Eliel, curator of modern art at LACMA; Pilar Tompkins Rivas, curator and director of residency programs at 18th Street Arts Center; and Richard Wyatt, artist and former instructor at the University of California, Irvine, and Otis Art Institute.
