The POWER of ART

If you love art,

And you wish to learn the mystery behind it,

then this is for you!

Bezpala Brown Gallery cordially invites you to attend our presentation and interactive discussion led by Mila Bezpala and Darrell Brown about

The Power of Art

May 26, 2013

1 pm – 3 pm

at BEZPALA BROWN GALLERY

…What is art? Why do our eyes and mind crave art? Why your soul is looking for enrichment through art whenever you have a chance? How to read art? How to appreciate art? How to choose art? How to invest in art? What is your “that one” – your piece? These and other questions we attempt to address in our interactive discussion on Sunday, May 26.

Special guest speaker, internationally renowned artist Petro Bevza, will take listeners through an exciting journey where the hidden philosophy of life finds a perfect reflection in truly valued art; and where Mila and Darrell will share their views as to how recognize genuine art.

This event is an excellent beginning of Doors Open Toronto!

ALLEGORIES OF LOVE

AND

THE ALLUSIONS OF TAHIRIH

by
Shyla Shilah Tibando

JUNE 1 – 29

Tahirih was a revered Persian poet and a courageous defender of women’s rights. In 1848, she had the audacity to remove her veil in the company of men. For that and other audacious actions, Tahirih was executed. Tibando has created pieces based on the poetic allusions of Tahirih. It is a testament to a fearless woman who sought emancipation and died for it.
