The Darling Foundry launches this Thursday Place publique performances, a performance cycle created for an outdoors setting and presented by emerging curators and collectives. This initiative allows the public to discover new practices based on experimentation, research and audience participation.

PROGRAM II
Toile détente
Thursday July 25th, 2013, 7pm
Lisa Gamble & Katie Jung, Field Trip, 2012
Toile détente puts forward experimental compositions inviting the public to rethink the soundtrack of the city. The performances create in front of the Darling Foundry a hybrid island of nature, both soothing and anxiogenic, challenging the established order with the indiscipline of an imaginary landscape. Fed intuitively by the presence of the public, the interventions of Toile détente alternately open up and close the sensory tissue of the environment.

PROGRAM III
All day breakfast (kids menu version)
Saturday August 24th, 2013, 1pm
In a festive atmosphere of barely controlled chaos, collective TouVA proposes actions that open up a space of unexpected discoveries, a collective experience that is fueled by interdependent contact, where guests fully invest themselves in the present moment. Playing upon the classic All Day Breakfast, a series of booths offer an unconventional menu of gastronomically tasty activities (and yes, a few food items too).
