One of South Africa’s most celebrated young artists, Phillemon Hlungwani’s monumental etchings, linocuts and charcoal drawings based on the rural community of north-eastern South Africa where he was born have earned him an international reputation. Recently commissioned by Petra Diamonds to record life at the Cullinan diamond mine, we are delighted to host the debut UK exhibition of Hlungwani’s work and the first exhibition of the Cullinan drawings.
